Buying perfume online: checks from checkout to delivery
Check the version, availability, address and parcel. A practical order checklist, including what to do when something goes wrong.

Buying perfume online involves two decisions: choosing the right product and understanding what happens after you order. A good photograph does not establish that you selected the right size, that the item is in stock or that it will arrive in time for a gift.
A few checks before payment are easier than changing a parcel that is already on its way.
Read the basket line, not just the photograph
Check the full product name, version and size in your basket. A photograph may represent several sizes. Words such as Intense, Elixir and Parfum can identify different products within the same range.
With gift sets, read each component separately. The Libre set with 50 ml EDP and 50 ml shower gel, for example, does not contain 100 ml of perfume. The volumes of different products should not be added together as though they were one fragrance bottle.
In stock is not the same as on preorder
For a preorder, request an estimated arrival time for that specific item. A previous order's delivery time is not a guarantee for the next one.
If you need a birthday present or are about to travel, give the shop the required date and delivery town before paying. “I need it in Durrës by Friday” is something the team can check. Adding an urgent note after ordering cannot automatically change transport availability.
Check delivery charges and the final total
Fragrances.al delivers to Albania and Kosovo. The shipping page currently states free delivery in Albania and a 450 ALL charge per order to Kosovo. Always check the delivery charge, total and selected currency at checkout before confirming.
Timing depends on availability and the address. There is no blanket next-day promise here because it would not be accurate for every order. Cash on delivery and the available online payment options are shown during checkout.
Give the courier a usable address
Include the town, street, building or house number and useful entrance details. A neighbourhood name alone may not be enough. Provide a telephone number on which the recipient can be reached.
When sending a gift, clarify who receives the parcel and who pays. Avoid pairing the recipient's name with the number of someone who will be unavailable.
Keep the confirmation and order number. If you spot an address error, contact the team immediately with that reference. Do not place another order simply because the first confirmation is missing from your inbox.
When the parcel arrives
Check its condition and the product received. If there is damage, leakage or an incorrect item, take clear photographs of the parcel and label and contact the shop. Keep the packaging for both the enquiry and safe return transport.
If the parcel has not arrived, ask for a check using the existing order number and address. A second order may create a duplicate rather than resolve the delay.
If you want to return it
Read the current returns policy and contact the team promptly with the order number, product and issue you want resolved. Agree where and how to send the parcel before dispatching it yourself.
Use the policy for the applicable terms and rights, not assumptions drawn from social-media comments. For Kosovo orders, ask for destination-specific guidance.
